Frosted Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts

It's been nearly a year since our last post, because Clare has been bogged down in nursing school (go girl!), Kelly is busy becoming an epicly amazing speech pathologist (did I get that right?), and my own work has kept me on my toes.  But never fear!  I am boldly continuing the quest!

On to today's pop-tart review!

The Frosted Pumpkin Pie Pop-tart

Let me begin by saying that I LOVE pumpkin pie!  It is one of my all time favorites among pies.  When I was browsing the aisles of Wal-Mart and I came across this baby, I was super excited!

I couldn't stop myself from buying it.  And milk.

When I got home from my grocery shopping excursion, I must confess that my first order of business was to pop one of these limited edition holiday pastries into the toaster.

Can you feel the excitement building?

If so, you can imagine my supreme disappointment when I was, well, disappointed. And boy! Was I disappointed.

This pop-tart definitely tastes like pumpkin pie, but somehow, it also manages to taste completely boring.  Completely.

Toasted, un-toasted, with milk, without milk, it's just a dud.

It's not disgusting.  It's not weird-tasting.  It's just very, very boring.

I encourage you to save your money and your calories on this one, folks!
